What does the water damage restoration process involve?

Infinium Construction will first inspect the area and stop the water source from creating additional damage. We will then use our water extraction machinery to remove any standing or access water from the site. Once the water is removed, we start the drying process with dehumidifiers and heavy fans. When the area is dry to our satisfaction, we test the air and building materials to make sure the moisture problem is resolved.

How much does water damage cost?

Water restoration is very hard to give an estimated cost because of the many different scenarios which are involved with a water cleanup. Our trained technicians will perform a thorough evaluation and assist you in reaching a fair agreement with your insurance adjuster. In most cases there is no cost to the homeowner.

How long for mold to grow after a water damage?

Mold can grow immediately in certain cases but in most cases it will take anywhere from 24 to 48 hours to grow. It's standard in the water damage industry to resolve the issue within 48 hours- otherwise there is a high potential for mold growth which can cause additional damage and costs in your home.

Our expert team will first work with you to secure the property by boarding doors and windows, then work on water extraction if required – frequently, the bulk of the damage is caused by putting the fire out. Finally, cleaning and deodorizing will restore your property back to just how it was before the fire.

What will happen to the items left in the home during a fire restoration?

Depending on the item's condition, we may deem some items safe to be stored in a storage facility. Our technicians will remove such items and store them properly. Other items may have irreparable damage and may be removed. Your judgment and desire for the disposition of items will be sought.
